Election laws are in place to secure your vote from the time a ballot is requested through the archiving process.
Your Signature is Important
 
Your handwriting may change over time. It's important to update your signature periodically. We use the signature on file to verify your identity on petitions and vote by mail ballots. You must complete a Voter Registration Application
to update your signature. Click on 'Register to Vote Florida' above.

2020 CENSUS DATA
The Census Bureau results of the 2020 population count for Citrus County is 153,843. In 2010 the population was 141,236, which is an increase of almost 9%.
 
Florida gained one new U.S. House seat after a 14.6% population gain from 2010 to 2020. The state's estimated population is now 21,538,187 as of April 1, 2020.
 
The census data will inform how state legislatures and local governments across the country will draw their legislative boundaries. States may use this data in redrawing congressional, legislative, and local district boundaries.

ELECTION WORKER ORIENTATION 2022
 
The Supervisor of Elections held the first election worker orientation classes for voters interested in working the 2022 elections. Attendees were introduced to the various positions available. Their interest in being part of the the election process is welcomed and appreciated. We employ approximately 400 election workers during each election. It's a great opportunity to serve your community, learn the process, have fun, meet new people, and get paid!
